What We Believe At SCC:

We’re a Pentecostal Full Gospel Christian Word of Faith Church that believes in Jesus Christ as Lord and savior.

Pastor Joseph goes directly to God’s Word to offer powerful solutions to life’s toughest issues and brings a Holy Ghost message of repentance, healing and restoration in Jesus name!

We are a local church that honors the Holy Spirit, a church that wins souls, a church that makes no apologies and feels no guilt for believing the Bible, and a church that is a blessing to your family and to this nation.

We believe Jesus left earth to give us the Comforter, The Holy Ghost, who gives us gifts and discernment and guides us on our journey. We believe that all of the gifts of the Holy Ghost are still in use today but do not believe that any specific gift is necessary for salvation and no gift of the Holy Ghost would contradict the order given to us in scripture. (John 14:26, John 16:7, 1 Corinthians 12)

We believe in Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, and He is the only way to be saved from sin and Hell when we repent and put our faith and trust in Him. We believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus and that He is coming back soon. We believe Jesus is the Name Above All Names (Luke 13:3, John 14:6, 2 Thessalonians 1:8, Acts 4:12)

We believe in the Godhead, God three in one the Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost, all fully God. (1 John 5:7)

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith, not of works lest any man should boast. We believe that the Grace of God that brings salvation changes us and teaches us how to live. We do not have saving grace while continuing a life of sin as faith can be shipwrecked and turned away from. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 2:11-12, 1 Timothy 1:19, Romans 11:22)

We believe marriage is between a biologically born male human being and a biologically born female human being only. (Genesis 5:2, Genesis 18:20-21, Genesis 19:4-5, Leviticus 20:13, Matthew 19:4-6, Romans 1, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Jude 1:6-7)
