Victory Via Death

James 4:14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.                                                                                                 (Every morning I enjoy a hot cup of joe. I usually wait until the steam goes away before I start to drink it. As fast as the vapours go away from my coffee so does our life. We haven been given a short time line by God to develop a relationship with His son Jesus. No matter how much we serve Him we can only experience so much in our mortal bodies.)

Judges 16:30 And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with all his might; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein. So the dead which he slew at his death were more than they which he slew in his life.

Galatians 5:19 The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.                                                                                             (Just as Samson defeated the most enemies upon death we too will defeat most of our enemies upon death of our sinful nature. The devil will do all he can to exploit our natural weakness so that we can be bound. But when we are Holy Ghost baptized and die to our old nature we will see the great victory in our life!)

1 Corinthians 15:31 I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.                                                                                                (Let us die to our flesh, die to our pride, die to our will, die to our past sin, die to our past hurt, die to our failures in the name of Jesus! Being born again is death to the old man. If we are dead to the old man heaven will be our home!)

Matthew 27:50 And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit.
