The Holy Ghost In Me
Matthew 7:22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who practice evil!‘” 24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
(God looks at our heart, and He sees what is behind every action that we do! Especially when we are claiming it In The Name of His Son, Jesus! He is describing a professing type of Christian here. Those who love sin more then God and do not want to repent but God still chooses to give them gifts. The deception is when we think using our gift alone will save us. Some folks are motivated only by showing off the works of God rather then loving God, and they are satisfied with that type of relationship with Him!)
2 Corinthians 12:20 For I am afraid that when I come I may not find you as I want you to be, and you may not find me as you want me to be. I fear that there may be quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, factions, slander, gossip, arrogance and disorder.
(I shake my head when I read this scripture every time! Why? Because we see this happening a lot more now, than ever before!  It is in the majority of the mainstream churches, and you’ll either read about it, or watch it on the news. Even in good Christian Homes you’ll see, or hear of these types of things going on! Why? The Holy Ghost is not living inside of every one who goes to church out of duty rather than out of love for Jesus. We’ve moved away from the teachings of the Holy Ghost, most people don’t even understand who the Holy Ghost is now!)
John 16:7 But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. 8 When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment:
(God is not going to ask us to do something that He has not empowered us to do in Him, or something that He has not made a way for us to do. If we are not even convicted in the little things, then the little things will grow into big things. The job of the Holy Ghost is to convict us of sin which means to make us aware of when we are living wrong.)
John 14:15″If you love me, you will obey what I command.
(Check point to self! Do I really love God, as much I say I do? Do I really obey God, and do what He ask me to do? How are my actions showing that this is true in my life? Am I producing any Fruits of the Spirit?)
2 Peter 2:7 and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the filthy lives of lawless men 8 (for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)–
Luke 23:43 Jesus answered him, “I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise
(The Holy Ghost will make us over comers in Jesus Holy Name! While we are enduring in this daily grind, of living with the wickedness of other men here on earth. Then we will be rewarded for our victory in Him, and for steadfastness in faith!)
