Romans 9:15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.                                                                                            (After you read the definition of favour above and if Jesus is your Lord then you will have all that favour from above! The essence of favour is not that it is deserved or earned but that it is not deserved and not earned. Every single Christian is a child of God and will receive favour from our Heavenly Father. Having the favour of God does not mean we will live in a bubble and nothing will happen to us but it does mean God will anoint us to overcome anything that comes our way.)

Luke 1:28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.                                                                  (The natural aspect of Mary’s favour was hardship! Joseph was going to divorce her, she had to deliver her son in a barn, King Herod tried to kill her baby and she had to watch her son get crucified! But the spiritual favour was she played a priceless role in being used by God. Mary had to keep her focus on the importance of Jesus to overcome her hardship!)

Genesis 39:21 But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.                                                                        Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?                                                                                                                                                          (No matter what life throws at us just remember our relationship with Jesus is more important. In doing that we will see the true meaning of our life and we will be able to savor the flavor of favour!)
