Christian Angelology 103 “Heavenly Beings”

Strong’s H8314 – saraph Pronunciation sä·räf’

1) serpent, fiery serpent a) poisonous serpent (fiery from burning effect of poison) 2) seraph, seraphim a) majestic beings with 6 wings, human hands or voices in attendance upon God

Strong’s H8312 sar`aph1) disquieting thoughts, thoughts

(#1 Angels speak to us in thoughts.                                                                                                                                           If you pay close attention you can see the subtle difference between the two Hebrew words above and you can see the obvious connection of angels and thoughts. When we walk with Jesus Christ, God is going to send angels to us in the form of thoughts. Our greatest battle between good and evil will always begin in our mind. We have the power as Christians to pray to our heavenly Father and ask Him to send us angels to battle evil thoughts and temptation. Once we realize both good thoughts and evil thoughts did not come from us nor are they who we are, then we will begin to mature spiritually. We will neither take blame for the initial evil thought/demon nor will we take credit for the initial good thought/angel but we will stay mindful that God holds us accountable for what we do with that thought/spirit.)

Hebrews 13:2 Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.                                                                                                                                                                        (#2 Angles are used of God to test us to see how we will treat them.                                                                       Most of us are full of love and shinning goodness while in a church service but how do we treat random people outside of church? If we truly bare the fruit of the Holy Spirit then we will love at all times! )

Hebrews 1:14 Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?                1 Corinthians 13 1If I speak in the tonguesof men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.                                                                                                                                       (#3 Angels are used of God to edify us spiritually in our life long walk with God.)

1 Kings 19:5 Then he lay down under the tree and fell asleep. All at once an angel touched him and said, “Get up and eat.” 6 He looked around, and there by his head was a cake of bread baked over hot coals, and a jar of water. He ate and drank and then lay down again.  (#4 Angels are used of God to provide for our needs so we can carry out the will of God.                                                                                                                                                 Forget about what the world says, forget about the media report on economic crises but remember what the word of God says! The Lord will at all cost take care of His children!)
