Battles Won Without A Fight

Sermons

2 Chronicles 32:20 King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz cried out in prayer to heaven about this. 21 And the Lord sent an angel, who annihilated all the fighting men and the leaders and officers in the camp of the Assyrian king. So he withdrew to his own land in disgrace. And when he went into the temple of his god, some of his sons cut him down with the sword.

2 Kings 19:35 That night the angel of the Lord went out and put to death a hundred and eighty-five thousand men in the Assyrian camp. When the people got up the next morning—there were all the dead bodies!

(The reason why King Hezekiah and Isaiah were crying out to God is because they knew without the immediate divine intervention of the Lord, that they and all of Judah would be annihilated. Do we seek the Lord first or do we try to use our own efforts first? While Judah was still sleeping, God wiped out all 85,000 enemies. They never had to lift a finger but lift a sincere prayer of faith to the Lord. Praise Jesus because one single angel of the Lord is greater then any battle we can ever face!)

Exodus 14:28 The water flowed back and covered the chariots and horsemen—the entire army of Pharaoh that had followed the Israelites into the sea. Not one of them survived.

(If we use our faith in His might and not our might then our battles will be won without a fight!)
