All Of Heaven Rejoices For You

“I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.” Luke 15:7

The Bible says that all of Heaven rejoices when someone gets saved. It does not say when a certain number of people get saved, it is when each and every individual gets saved. But it has to be when someone gets truly saved and becomes a new creature in Jesus Christ, repenting of their sinful ways and being changed by the Holy Ghost. There is no saved drunk, no saved homosexual, no saved transgender, no saved fornicator or adulterer and no saved crooked politician that goes to church on Sundays but sells his soul for the city finances and votes. There are many former homosexuals, transgenders, drunks, crooked councilmen and fornicators that are saved and enjoying life more now than ever.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 10:10

Becoming born again and saved is a very joyful event. On top of all of Heaven rejoicing we rejoice in our new lives and our reconciliation to God through Jesus, we can not save ourselves from Hell or earn our salvation, Jesus did that when He shed His Blood for us. Even Mary, the mother of Jesus rejoiced in God her savior.

“46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, 47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. 48 For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.” Luke 1:46-48

When Jesus removes us out of the sewer of sin and the darkness that it brings it is only natural to be filled with joy.

“And my soul shall be joyful in the Lord: it shall rejoice in his salvation.” Psalm 35:9

No matter what you are going through now in your life it is not too late to cause all of Heaven to rejoice. In fact it is the people that have been in the deepest and darkest depths of sin and on Hell’s doorstep that end up making great Christians. Jesus even said so Himself:

“Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.” Luke 7:47

So if you are feeling that you can not be forgiven and have gone too far, consider the woman who Jesus forgave in Luke 7:47. He acknowledged that she had many sins but when she came to Him she was forgiven and changed and was more appreciative to Jesus than someone who did not have as many sins.

“8 Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it? 9 And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost. 10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.” Luke 15:8-10
