7 Methods Of Satan’s Manipulation

Sermons

#1Fear Hebrews 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; 15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.                                                                                                                                             Matthew 10:28 Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.  (In Hebrews we read that satan want to keep people in fear of death of the body and in Matthew we read its better to be afraid of God who is the only one who has the people to destroy both body and soul. No matter what we will fear someone or something. If we do not fear God then we will fear all of satan’s methods of manipulation. Satan wants people to be afraid of death, afraid to be poor, afraid to get sick, afraid to loose jobs, afraid of loosing freedom.)                                                                                                                                                             Hebrews 10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.                                                                                                                                                                     Acts 19:15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?                                                                                                                                              Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.                                                                                                                              (How is that the demons are terrified of Jesus but the guards were comfortable smacking, punching, spitting on, stabbing and crucifying Jesus? The answer is simple, the demons lived with Jesus in heaven so they knew who He was and the saw His infinite power and authority. The guards did not know Jesus in the Spirit and you can not be afraid of what you do not know. This is why when God chastens us as sons we will begin to develop a fear of Him. The difference between demons fearing God and Christians fearing God is huge! Demons fear God because they know they are on their way to hell and they can not defeat God. Christians know that God has the highest and infinite amount of power over all our enemies but God uses His power for our good. Christians know Jesus uses His power to protect us, provide for us, lead us, heal us, deliver us and love us. When we have a biblical understanding of fear we will not be manipulated by satan. 2-7 Methods to be continued…)
